Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page
Jimena Pratcha, Jimmy Page's then-wife, commissioned me to paint Jimmy.
Jimena met the Led Zeppelin guitarist while working in a soup kitchen for Brazil’s street kids. They talked about doing something together to help the children and on returning to the UK they founded Action for Brazil’s Children Trust.
So in 2004 Jimena commissioned me to paint Jimmy's portrait which he also signed. The painting was auctioned in London and raised a considerable amount of money for the kids. The money went toward building a large home for the children where they are helped to get the education, support and inspiration they need to transform their lives.
