About the painting: Jimena Pratcha met Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page whilst working in a soup kitchen for Brazil’s street kids. They talked about doing something together to help the children and on returning to the UK they founded Action for Brazil’s Children Trust. In 2004 Jimena (who by then was married to Jimmy) commissioned Barry Novis to paint Jimmy's portrait which he also signed. The original painting was auctioned in London and raised a considerable amount of money which went towards building a large home for the children where they are helped to get the education, support and inspiration they need to transform their lives.

JIMMY PAGE is an English musician, songwriter, instrumentalist and record producer who achieved international fame as the guitarist and founder of the rock band Led Zeppelin, one of the best-selling music groups in the history of audio recording. In addition to Page, Led Zeppelin comprised vocalist Robert Plant, bassist/keyboardist John Paul Jones, and drummer John Bonham.
Previously, Jimmy Page was a member of the highly successful British group The Yardbirds, a band which also spawned the careers of Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck. Originally blues-based, The Yardbirds ventured into pop music, pioneering psychedelic rock and hard rock.
Jimmy Page is considered one of the greatest and most influential guitarists of all time, described by Rolling Stone magazine as "the pontiff of power riffing", and ranking only behind Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton in their list of "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time".
